Our mission is to educate, train and create meaningful employment opportunities within the insurance industry for disabled veterans.
Welcome to DVIC, a non profit organization offering disabled veterans job training, job opportunities, and the prospect of a meaningful career in the insurance industry. Here, we offer training, licensing, and employment to highly skilled, tech-savvy heroes and heroines who are mature beyond their years. It is our number one goal to create meaningful and gratifying employment opportunities for the men and women who have risked everything for our nation. While we are headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida, we take great pride in serving disabled veterans across our beautiful country.
Did you know that the number of disabled veterans is increasing each year? In fact, more than 20,000 veterans were wounded during service in Iraq and Afghanistan alone.
At DVIC, we continually look toward the bright futures of our disabled veterans. Their endless hard work, dedication, and commitment continues on, even after time spent serving our nation. This time, their commitment lies in helping their fellow men by working in the insurance industry. We work closely with the Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment Service of the Department of Veterans Affairs in order to identify qualified, physically disabled veterans. Once a veteran has completed our training program, he or she will be licensed and offered employment with DVIC. These disabled veterans will go on to help companies and agencies to improve cross-sell results and increase overall business for carriers. It is a win/win for all parties involved.
Take a moment to think about what these men and women did for the United States in the past. Now, it is our turn to lend a hand to help them transition and succeed in our world today. Everyone deserves a bright and hopeful future—especially those who have fought for our future.
